Director Vetri Maaran’s International Institute of Film and Culture is proud to announce the International Short Film Contest 2025 

All passionate filmmakers from India and from around the world can participate in this contest.

 What you need to do:

• The short film should be of 15 to 20 minutes duration 
• The short film should be a first time entry
• The participant must submit the short film in the required format to the designated email
  (format and email  will be intimated in the subsequent announcements)

 The Plan and the Process:

• Entries must be submitted by or on June 15, 2025
• A panel of eminent filmmakers will serve as the jury
• First and second prizes will be awarded to the films selected by the jury
• The winners will receive attractive cash prizes
• All the shortlisted films will be screened at a film festival hosted by IIFC at a later date
